  • Philanthropy #1

This year we will be collecting a variety of hand crafted items to be given out at Christmas to care-givers through Piatt County Family Services. We will also be collecting personal hygiene items and cleaning products for this worthy cause.

Lap blankets, ditty bags, knitted gloves and scarves, whatever makes your heart happy to donate. We’ll have a representative of this great cause at camp to collect our much needed and much appreciated donations.

  • Philanthropy #2

This year at camp we will also be making new curtains for the camper cabins. With our collected funds we’ll purchase the fabric needed, create a template and then set up machines for anyone to sit and sew some straight lines/make curtains.

First time using a machine? What a great way to learn. Feel like a break from your project or have some down time in between classes, sit for a spell and sew some a curtain or two! By the end of camp our goal is that all 30+ cabins will have new curtains. All the same kind, created with the same fabric at the same time.
