In addition to the craft classes, other activities may be available. Campers are always welcome to walk through Allerton Park and enjoy the magnificent grounds and statues. Saturday and Sunday afternoon, a tractor-pulled wagon rides to the park gardens are provided by the 4-H Memorial Camp (if the Camp Director is able to do so).
Of course campers can always enjoy more quiet alternatives like bringing a good book to read without having to worry about home distractions like cooking and chores. Some prefer to just spend time socializing with all the other campers.
